Test Preparation
Standardized tests are a rather strange way to measure someone’s likelihood at being successful in college. Nevertheless, they play an massive role in the admissions process. I offer specialized tutoring in the SAT, ACT, Subject Tests, and high school entrance exams, with the goal of maximizing your student’s opportunities at the next level.
Writing and Rhetoric
When it comes down to it, communication is at the core of all education. No matter how smart you might be, if you can’t communicate your ideas, nobody’s going to know about it. After teaching freshman composition at Stanford, I now offer my own personalized academic writing program for students to improve their composition and rhetoric skills.
College Admissions
Navigating the college admissions process can be a tricky beast. I’ll help lead you through the whole thing - from course selection, to extracurricular planning, to college essay writing and application submission. I’m sure you’re already been working hard. My goal is to make sure your accomplishments are highlighted in the most powerful way possible.
